About the scab, I've been having the same problem. The area around the scab is a little purple-ish and it looks sorta like a really tiny bump. Today, I was cleaning it and the scab accidentally came off. It bled a little when i applied pressure, but it hasn't bled since and it doesn't really hurt. Its actually right beside it. Like, right where the piercing "hole" starts, not around it. HELP?
Keep cleaning your nose like usual. I’m far less worried about the scab falling off than I am the fact that it’s purple-ish and is a little bump now. Tea tree oil might help as well. But there’s a few things you did not tell me:
1) When you got your nose pierced
2) Whether or not you changed the nose jewelry
3) How long the bump has been there for
If you’ve had the bump for 2 weeks or less, I’d say try the sea salt soak or tea tree oil. If it’s been longer than that, go back to your piercer and/or see a doctor so they can give you something to get rid of that purple bump.
