hi! I got my nose pierced in Feb. of this year with stainless steel ring and had a sever allergic reaction to it. I noticed some people think that Steel is a hypoallergenic material, but it really isn't. Titanium, iridium, and gold are. I'm hoping to put in a titanium hoop sometime this week. It took my nose over 5 months to heal from the initial infection. Steel is not good if you have metal allergies!
Ooh! Sorry to hear that! Thank you for the info, though. I’ll be keeping that even in mind for myself in the future. I have allergies to a lot of things, and that could be one of them for all I know.
