My nose has been pierced for 6 months and about 3 weeks after I got it pierced it go ripped out at aeropostale by a sweater and i couldnt find the stud so my sis went to claires and bought some bend to fits and now im using cork screws. But when I touch my nsoe stud it hurts why does it hurt?
Nose cartilage can take years to heal. Soreness even months later is not unusual. Your piercing might still be sore for a variety of reasons:
- The current jewelry isn’t sitting right in your piercing
- You touch it too much, so it won’t heal
- Something else is wrong with it
Suggestion- go see a professional piercer and have them check it out. If it looks ok to them, you probably have nothing to worry about. You didn’t say it was swollen, infected, pus-like, discolored, consistently bleeding or anything else that would be cause for alarm. So if it’s just sore, you’re probably ok. Just see a piercer to double-check. Peace of mind, really…
