I recently got my nose 6 days ago have been taking good care of it (sea salt soaks twice a day, etc.) When I first got it I barely noticed it and I don't notice it much now except when I'm cleaning it or I make slight contact with it.. The pain has increased intensely and I'm not sure if that's a cause for worry. Also, my intial piercing is an L shape and after a couple of days it began to sink in and I can barely even see the back of it inside my nose, should I worry?

Possibly. You could be having a reaction to the jewelry that was put into your piercing, or it could be something else entirely. Because I’m not a professional piercer or doctor, the best advice I can give you right now are these two things (and you can do just one or BOTH, but definitely do at least one of these things ASAP):

  1. Schedule another appointment (or just do a walk-in) as soon as possible to see the piercer who put in your piercing (or see another piercer if necessary) to see what if anything is wrong with your piercing.
  2. If gets worse before your visit with the piercer, I would suggest taking the piercing out (which sucks, but you can always get another piercing) & scheduling an emergency appointment with an ENT doctor or your family doctor as soon as possible to see what’s happening with your nose.

Better safe than sorry.
